Sheffield Floods

25 June 2007

Okay, this isn't the prettiest site in the world, but I'm not a graphic designer and have never claimed to be. So this is here to be functional more than anything else.

Moving along from that, herein lies a brief snapshot of the flooding of Sheffield in June 2007 that I've caught on camera over the past couple of days, alongside maps giving a vauge indication of where the pictures have been taken (always useful). Google Maps comes in handy now and then...

Images are clickable if you want to see a larger version - remember though that some browsers (like Firefox or IE) will automatically shrink a picture so the whole thing fits on a page, so you might need to click a second time to do the browser "zoom-in" stuff.

NOTE! the original pictures that these render from are 1024x768 and up to 300K in size. Please be patient if the images come up slowly. There are a few video files as well - the size of these has been given where they appear.
